Fox Valley Chapter 2011 Events
We welcome feedback and suggestions from our members
on these events and solicit ideas for future events. Clicking on the location,
gets the MapQuest web site for directions. We produce two formal meetings each year, and we
take advantage of the efforts of other organizations for two informal meetings.

the golf course. We will have a private dinning room. It is easy to find on 335 E. Boughton Road in Bolingbrook (630-739-2377).
Our speaker is Terry Lynch portraying General Grant in an educational and entertaining explanation of the Civil War.
We will also recognize new Chapter Members, present a heroism medal to recognize a special situation, present a check to the Children of the American Revolution (CAR),
and present other awards.
All SAR, DAR and CAR members and their guests are welcome to attend!!
The cost for the banquet is $35.00 for adults and $20.00 for children under 12:

Dr. Cremin will present the fascinating story of how Lockport, Illinos touched
Lincoln's professional life from a young state legislator, United States Congressman,
President, and finally national martyr.
In addition to Dr. Cremin's presentation, we will honor Deborah Rickert,
President of Operation Support Our Troops - America,
with a special community service medal.
